To the Jefferson Family, I was saddened to hear about the passing of your mother and I offer you my deepest condolences. I couldn't help but reminisce about all the years I spent running up and down the street and in and out your family's home. The meals, the popcorn, card games, trips to the park, and our many, many trips to Expressway store. I always saw your family as an extension of my own and I learned so much from each of you as we all grew into the adults we are today. Ms. Jefferson taught us to be strong spirits, financially responsible, and to place family first. Your Mother played a great part in whom we became in life and for that I will forever be grateful.
As you reminisce about your Mother, remember that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and with Him there is a promise of great Joy and Peace. Please know that our prayers and thoughts are with you all as you navigate your way through this difficult time.
Much Love

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve, as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, and remain until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

To Delia Jefferson Kelly and Family,
I loved going to your mother's house over the years and talking to her. She was like family to me too. She was so funny and always spoke the truth. I know how much you and the girls loved her. I will keep you all in my prayers.
Rest In Peace Mrs. Dorothy Jefferson
Love Always,
