Just learned today of Gladis going to heaven. She attended church with my Aunt Erma in Shreveport many years ago and as God would have it. we met her when she attended Calvary Church in Houston. We became friends and have remained in contact through the years. I tried to phone her this morning to wish her Merry Christmas and was so sad when I heard her phone had been disconnected. To her boys, daughter in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, I will tell you I never had a conversation with her that she did not tell me how blessed she was. She was a sweet and thoughtful lady. You are all in my prayers and I am so sorry I did not know of her passing. She was a grand lady. I will miss her so much.

Mrs. Gladis was married to my Father Timothy P. Lynch they were both widowers and God joined them together this is how i met this wonderful lady and came to know her as my stepmother. She had a generous heart and was a godly woman who always watched over her family and especially her grands . She put the Lord first in her life and the Lord directed her path. She was not shy about telling you her opinion or what she thought , she spoke her mind. This lady of God will be missed and the world will not be the same without her. Rest in peace Mr.s Gladis and receive your well earned crown in heaven .
