Heather Jilg Obituary
Heather Dowden Jilg, age 37, of DeBerry, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 26, 2013, in a Minden, Louisiana, hospital.
Heather was born October 6, 1976, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Doug and Betty Dowden. She was a member of Radiant Light Church.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Rasko and Mary Jo Davis, Tommy Rae Dowden, aunt Brenda Brumley and Jason Turnage.
She is survived by two sons, Tyler and Justin Jilg both of Shreveport, Louisiana; her mother, Betty Hayes of DeBerry, Texas; her father, Doug Dowden and wife Dian of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; step-father, Bill Hayes of DeBerry, Texas; one sister, Lacey Rego and Jim of Wasilla, Alaska; one step-brother, Andy Hayes of DeBerry, Texas; one step-sister, Haley Perryman of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; her paternal grandmother, Maura Jane Dowden of Gloster, Louisiana; aunt, Carolyn Turnage and husband John of Yuma, Arizona; uncle, Mark Davis of Rodessa, Louisiana; a special cousin Prissy Stephens; a special friend Chris Kandler and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 5, 2013, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Jerry Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Smyrna Cemetery, Atlanta, Texas.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
