I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed James and his outlook on life. We shared many laughs and life observations He always did his best and I was so fortunate to cross his path. He made my life richer. He will be missed. My prayers are out to your family.

When Logan and James were in school together y'all were so very kind to Logan including him in several family events. Those are memories that will be forever cherished with love and gratitude. We have no words other than to say that God is always in control and faith and trust in Him will get you through. Your family has been a blessing to ours.

Candi, I am so sorry. Candi was my clinical nursing instructor during my first level clinicals. She is an extraordinary educator and a deeply compassionate nurse. She is definitely a proud mamma, that adores her family. I remember her always talking about her boys and even giving us a special assignment per request of her son about a medical condition that he felt compelled to spread awareness about. Especially to nurses in training on the off chance they ever came across this condition in the clinical setting so that they would be able to recognize it. This was a while back but I remember thinking “wow, this is an amazing kid with an altruistic spirit”. Wise beyond his years. I never met James, but my life has personally been touched by Candi and Jim and their unwavering service to the Shreveport area through nursing and education. I was not surprised at all to see that James continued in his parents foot steps, esp after being such an amazing teen. Y’all have my deepest sympathies, I can’t imagine the pain y’all are in and pray for y’all to find comfort during this devastating time.

Kind hearted, intelligent and caring. We shared many a conversation on history, politics, health, nature and travel over the few short years I knew him. I will not be able to watch "Hamilton" again without thinking about James.
Will be missed by all who knew him. Gone too early.
