Jamie Hadwin Obituary
KEITHVILLE, LA - Funeral services for Jamie Marie Hadwin, 32, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Keithville, LA. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Stowell. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, LA from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Jamie was born on May 16, 1983 in Shreveport to Ronald W. Herring and Terri Lynn Alcorn Patterson. She worked as a Surgery Technician for numerous years, specializing in colon and rectal surgeries. Jamie loved life and enjoyed every moment of it. One of the many things she loved to do was go shopping, being with her friends and family, but more than anything else becoming a mother to her baby, Ryker and wife to her loving husband, Chris.
Preceding Jamie in death are her grandfathers, Charles "Pa-Pa" Herring and James Alcorn. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Chris Hadwin; son, Ryker Burton Hadwin; mother, Terri Patterson and husband, Mitch; father, Ronnie Herring and wife, Duanna; grandparents, Pat "Nonnie" Stuckmeyer, Corine "Nona" Herring, and Butch Ivey and wife, Penny; sister, Krystle Herring; brothers, Luke Herring, Derek Hadwin and wife, Ashley; special niece, Ava Lynn; father-in-law, Harry Hadwin, along with numerous extended family and friends.
Honoring Jamie as pallbearers will be Derek Hadwin, Luke Herring, Brandon Bowlin, Pete Cobb, Danny Call and Chris Hadwin.
Honorary pallbearer will be Tyler Hadwin.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 6295 Williams Rd., Keithville, Louisiana 71047.

In 1992 I met Jamie Herring for the first time when she entered my 4th grade classroom. What a beautiful young lady she was! I enjoyed her smile and her shy personality. I grew to love her that year. I have kept up with her over the years through a mutal friend. Even though I have not seen her in a long time my thoughts have often been with her - hoping that her life was full and wonderful. She accomplished all that I could have hoped for her. I pray that her family will know that I will miss her. God be with you in the coming days.

This is such a shock. Jamie was such a beautiful sweet person. Each time we came in to see Dr. Grimes and Dr. Stratton she was so caring and smiling. That office will never be the same. Earnest and I send our prayers to this family.
