Jessie Prealow Obituary
SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services for Deacon Jessie Ray Prealow, 69, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at New Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Shreveport with Rev. Danny Mitchell, Host Pastor, and Rev. Clarence J. Reese officiating. Interment will follow at New St. Mary Baptist Church Cemetery in Coushatta, La. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday at New Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church with a showing of a life memorial DVD.
He was born on June 23, 1939 in Timon, La and passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Promise Hospital in Shreveport. He worked as a Transportation Specialist at Roadway Express Inc. in Houston, TX for 23 years and A&O Charter Services. He was a Deacon of Agape Christian Church in Shreveport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Prealow and Gussie (Black) Nicholas.
He is survived by his wife, Reasie (Allen) Prealow of Shreveport; daughter, Paula Brokenberry of Atlanta, GA; two sons, Kevin L. Prealow of Apple Valley, CA and Scott T. Prealow (Alethea) of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Alice West (Floyd) and Connie N. Marshall, both of Shreveport, La and six brothers, Johnnie D. Pyel (Dyretha), Robert Earl Nicholas (Clementine), Ronnie Nicholas, Nathaniel Nicholas (Hazel) and Charles Nicholas, all of Shreveport, La and Reginald Prealow (Jacqueline) of Natchitoches, La. To the prealow, My heart was saden at the new of Jessie death. We worked together for seventeen(17) years at Roadway Express Company in Shreveport Louisiana. He will be greatly missed. My love and prays are with the Prealow family always. May God bless and keep your family forever and ever.
