I had the pleasure of going to high school with Jim and I can honestly say he was very funny and you never knew what he might come up with. Very fond Memories of this special fiend. I am very saddened to hear of his passing and will continue to keep his family in my prayers.

"Each life that touches ours for good reflects thine own great mercy, Lord; Thou sendest blessings from above thru words and deeds of those who love. What greater gift dost thou bestow, what greater goodness can we know than Christ-like friends, whose gentle ways strengthen our faith, enrich our days. When such a friend from us departs, we hold forever in our hearts a sweet and hallowed memory, bringing us nearer, Lord, to thee. For worthy friends whose lives proclaim devotion to the Savior's name, who bless our days with peace and love, we praise thy goodness, Lord above." I will always have wonderful memories of Jimmy and the times we spent together. My thoughts and prayers are with each of his family.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Even though it has been many years ago, I can remember his laugh and the encouragement Jimmy would give me while we played softball together. May the family feel blessed knowing that your loss is heaven's gain.
