Johnny Rachal Obituary
Shreveport, LA - A funeral service will be held for Johnny Rachal, 61, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel on Monday, April 20th at 10:00 a.m. Deacon Clary Nash will officiate. Interment, led by Father Thomas Paul, will follow at Weaver Cemetery in Flora, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Southside on Sunday, April 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Johnny was born on March 28, 1954 in Natchitoches, LA and entered peacefully into rest on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at his home in Houston, TX. He was a graduate of Woodlawn High School, class of 1972. At the time of his death he was employed as a Senior Piping Designer and Engineer at Dow Chemical Company.
He is survived by his brother, Jerry Rachal of Little Rock, AR; sister Jan Rachal Goldsby and husband Jeff of Keithville; sons John Ross Rachal and wife Heather of Stonewall and Jared Vincent Rachal of Shreveport. He was blessed with three grandchildren, Jackson Rachal, Pierce Rachal and Davis Rachal all of Stonewall.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, John Alfred Rachal and Marilyn Barbo Rachal and his grandmother Stella Rachal.
Honoring him as pallbearers will be his sons John Rachal and Jared Rachal, brother Jerry Rachal, brother in law Jeff Goldsby, nephew Matthew Goldsby, and long time friends Skip Thornton and Don Ruff.
