Josephine Logan Obituary
SHREVEPORT, LA - Josephine Gullo Logan, age 86, passed away on October 1, 2007. She was born on February 25, 1921 to Sam and Bernadette Gullo in Shreveport, LA. Her efforts were tireless to her family, the Catholic Church and her community both in Shreveport and after moving to Houston in 1975. She is preceded in death by her husband, William N. "Bill" Logan. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Margaret "Maggie" McPherson of Conroe, TX and Melanie Martin of Memphis, TN; sister, Mary Cordaro; grandchildren, Sherry Martin Roe and husband Darrell, Matthew McPherson and wife, Gina, and Kelly McPherson Morrell and husband, Michael; great grandchildren, Kristin Rose, Melanie Little, Logan Morrell, and one great, great grandchild, Madison Rose; nephews, Jack Logan and John Cordaro, and numerous others.
Services are entrusted to Osborn Funeral Home where visitation will be held at 6 P.M. with a rosary at 6:30 P.M. on October 3, 2007. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 A.M., October 4th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Officiating will be Monsignor Earl Provenza.

I feel the grief of her loss very
deeply as I would call her at the
assisted living place where she was
all the time and we would talk. I
knew she looked forward to hearing
from me or anyone to know that she
was loved by all of us.
To Melanie and Mary Margaret whom
grew up with I want to express my
sympathy. They are like sisters to
me and I love them both. We shall
all miss her yet she is in a better
place now and she no longer is
suffering. She is with her husband, Bill at last.
My love to all of her family and
friends for the sorrow they are
going through, including me.

Josephine has been on my mind lately. I fondly remember the delightful times we were members of the choir at St Edwards Catholic Church in Spring Texas and....how,it seemed, every week she lost a hub cap on Louetta Road..there she was, as I drove by, hunting for it. The County heard from her often. May she rest in peace.
