Kimberly Gail Bloomfield Newland

Toledo Bend, LA- Kimberly Gail (Bloomfield) Newland, 50, of Toledo Bend, Louisiana, formerly, Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 9, 2014.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Loretta B. Bloomfield and her father-in-law, James Newland. Kim is survived by her husband, Steven Newland and their son, James E. Newland. She is also survived by her father, James B. Bloomfield: her sisters: Susan Edwards, Debra Phelps, and Rhonda Ainsley; her brothers: Douglas Bloomfield, Anthony Bloomfield, and Robert Bloomfield. She will also be missed by her mother-in-law, Sandra Newland, Shreveport, LA.

Kim loved her husband, Steven, very much; they were together for 30 years. She was a wonderful mother. Her Son, James was always the "apple of her eye." In fact, she often referred to James as her miracle baby. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed Karaoke and her many good friends. She loved her pet UNO as a daughter. She will be remembered as a woman who always put her family first.

A memorial service celebrating Kimberly's life will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 115 3rd Street, Converse, LA. Please call 318-567-2600 or 318-471-2166 for information and confirmation.
