Lillie Hutto Jones

SHREVEPORT, LA- Lillie Hutto Jones, 68, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2007, at Christus Shumpert Hospital due to a lengthy illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Jackson Hutto and Fred Henry Hutto; two sisters, Patricia Ruth Johnson and Doshie Lee Riley; two brothers, Freddy Hutto Jr. and Dan Henry Hutto; one grandson, Michael Woodard.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, James Crittington Jones of Shreveport, LA; five daughters, Cindy Taylor and husband, John of Munford, TN, Tammy Woodard and husband, Tommy of Shreveport, LA, Jamie Davis and husband, Orlen of Vivian, La, Mary Clendenin and husband Paul of Statesville, NC, Teresa Qunta and husband Andy of Moreno Valley, CA; one son, Freddy Neighbors of Shreveport, LA; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Marksville, LA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 4, 2007, at Forest Park Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA and also at Hixon Brothers Funeral Home in Alexandria, LA from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, November 5, 2007.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at Hixon Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Alexandria, LA. Officiating will be Reverend Jeff White. Interment will follow in Lecompte Cemetery, in Lecompte, LA.

Pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, Byron Johnson, Joshua Davis, Seth Davis, Brandon Foster, Kerry Hinson, Stephen Neighbors and Bradley Neighbors.

It is heartfelt saddness that I learn of Lillie's recent death. While Lillie and I have never met, we are 5th cousins. We wish to extend our sympathy and prayers to all of those suffering this loss.
