Nona, a lifelong resident of Red River Parish was born December 9, 1911 and passed from this life on January 16, 2011 at her home. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and through her life set a Christian example by loving everyone she knew.

Those who knew her affectionately called her "Mama", "Mamaw Pree" and Aunt Nona. When you spent time with her, though a very quiet person, you would always know that she loved her family.
