Wesley Fletcher Obituary
A memorial service honoring the life of Wesley S. Fletcher will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017, at 2 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he was a member. Wes passed away June 28, 2017 from an accident in Caldwell Parish. He was born in Shreveport, La., July 12, 1973 to the union of his parents, Stan & Virginia Fletcher, their first born child.
He was a co-owner of Fletcher Tile, LLC. He held the certification of Ceramic Tile Installer; he was number 1213 in the nation. Before he went into business his former employment was with Henson's Carpet One, Natural Stone & Design, Jim Willis Tile & Ray Gibbs, starting his career at the age of 17. Wes was also an accomplished guitar player and loved music.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his uncles, Troy Fletcher and Gerald Orea. He is survived by his children; Dustin Cain of Sauk Village, IL and Katelyn Fletcher of Shreveport, LA. A grandson, Gabriel Cain. His parents, his siblings; Kacey, Kai, Stephanie Fletcher. Uncles, Greg Fletcher (Nawasa) and David Orea (Evon), several nieces, a nephew and cousins.
The family would like to express thanks and appreciation to everyone for their prayers and assisting us with all aspects of this circumstance. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Katelyn's education fund by contacting Wesley's parents.
A graveside service will be held at a later date for family, in Vivian Cemetery, Vivian, La.

I am so sorry to read about Wesley's death. I was his babysitter for a short time when he was just a little boy. I will never forget little Wesley! I still have a picture of him when he was about 4 years old. Stan & Virginia, you were such a wonderful family. My heart breaks for you. God be with us until we meet again.... After a long dark night, JOY comes in the morning where the light of the cross illuminates all darkness. "Look up and see that I am your Lord and your God. I will comfort you."
From dust we cometh, to dust we returneth; speaketh not of the soul.... Virginia is my 1st cousin. We had many joyous times together as children in NE Texas and NW Louisiana. Wesley is my 2nd. Rest in eternal peace, my dear brother. God will carry your family through where they will see you once again some day.
