Bette A. Brennan

Staten Island native, retired nurse; great-grandmother of nine, 85 Bette A. Brennan, 85, of Manchester, NJ, died Sunday, September 18, 2022, at home. She was born, raised and resided for most of her life in Staten Island, NY, before moving to Manchester 25 years ago. She worked as a registered Nurse and Nurse Manager for 52 years before retiring in 1998. She earned her BSN & Master's degrees from Richmond College. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and playing mahjong and poker. She was a past treasurer for the Leisure Knoll Association. She was predeceased by her son, Michael T. Brennan, in 2003. Surviving is survived by her husband of 67 years, John P. Brennan; son, John P. Brennan & wife, Christine; daughters, Donna Burtner & husband, Brian, Anita Quattrocchi & husband, Joseph, and Cristina DeAngelo & husband, Gerard; sisters, June Holman and Mary Leah Dellavalle; daughter-in-law, Young Brennan; 9 grandchildren: John, Kate, Melissa, Gina, Nicole, Dominick, Alexa, Kenneth, Rocco, and 9 great-grandchildren: Brianna, Alyssa, John, Emily, Mia, Valentina, Luca, Lia and Peyton. Visitation is Wednesday 4-8 PM with a 7 PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester. Interment is Thursday, Noon at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island.
