Edward Mikol Obituary
'A generous, caring and faithful man'
Edward C. Mikol Jr., 63, passed away on Nov. 25, 2019.
He was the devoted son of the late Edward C. Mikol Sr. and the late Anne C. Mikol. He also considered himself a "Big Brother" to Eric, Kaitlyn and Ryan.
Eddie was a very religious man who was a dedicated usher and parishioner at St. Rita's Church. He was a graduate of the College of Staten Island. Eddie enjoyed watching Yankees games, cooking and most importantly reading his prayer book. He was an extremely smart man; he spoke a variety of languages including Polish, Ukrainian and Russian fluently. Eddie was a great role model to others; he will be remembered as a generous, caring and faithful man who treated other with the utmost respect.
He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
Funeral is from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rita's R.C. Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Eddie was in my class (1974) at Susan E. Wagner High School. He had the kindest heart and biggest smile. When he greeted me, it would bring sunshine to my darkest, and most harried day.
I hope he continued to ring goodwill to all throughout his life. He was a shining gem.

Eddie is resting in peace now and was taken far too soon at only 63.A young life cut short.Sadly,so often we have no control over the length of or life spans.His time on this earth is now over...nut his kind memory shall live on in those that knew and loved him during his lifetime.
