Native Islander James H. Wallace, Jr. passed away on 01/11/2022 in Sarasota, Florida, with his family by his side, following a brief illness. Mr. Wallace was born on Staten Island, NY on February 23, 1939, to the late Nella (Galante) and James Wallace. A graduate of Curtis High School, he attended Wagner College and had been employed as a General Manager for the Columbia Ribbon and Carbon Company for the New England region. He was an avid fisherman, boater and proud grandfather. He is survived by his brother, Richard, his spouse, Maura (Gorman) Wallace, daughters, Kathleen Conte and Laura Guerrette, his grandchildren, Elizabeth and James Conte, Noah, Dylan and Fiona Guerrette. Memorial services to be held at a future date.
