Bernice Bridges Obituary
BRANDON, Fla. — Bernice E. (McLain) Bridges, 97, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 29, 2015, in Brandon, Florida.
She is survived by her sons, Carl (Kathie) and Ralph Bridges, of Florida; sisters, Phyllis McEowen of Lena, Imogene Deal, of Sidney; brothers Ralph McLain, of Sidney, and Herbie and Wayne McLain, of Virginia; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Bernice was a resident of Lena for 53 years, postmaster of the Conover post office from 1954 until her retirement in 1984, and a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene.
A memorial service in Bernice's honor will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, 3560 N. State Route 235, St. Paris, on Monday, July 20, at 7 p.m.
