Ruth Magoto Obituary
RUSSIA - Ruth "Tudy" Magoto age 94 of Russia, Ohio, died on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at The Landings, Sidney.
She was born on September 14, 1929, near Russia, Ohio to the late Clarence & Magdalene (Guillozet) Magoto. She is survived by a brother: Pete Magoto, Upper Arlington and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings & in-laws: Rita & Ralph Smith, Virginia & Sylvan Daniel, Jane & Robert Thomas, John & Norma Jean Magoto and Helen Magoto.
Tudy was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, Ohio. She graduated from Russia High School in 1947 and worked for Continental Insurance for 45 years. She was passionate about doing cross stitch. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia. Burial to follow in St. Remy Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Russia on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 5 to 7 PM and on Thursday, May 23 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Russia Fire Department and Foundation of Shelby County the Kyle Magoto Scholarship. Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
