TIPP CITY — Stella Jane Lucier, 60, of Tipp City, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at her residence.
She was born on May 19, 1958, in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Bobby Hugh Smith and Myrtle (Craig) Day.
On March 12, 1977, she married David Ralph Lucier, who survives along with two daughters, Cherie Renee (Benjamin Alan) English and Heather Lynne (George Henry) Sayger; daughter-in-law, Megan Lucier; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way; and siblings, Darlene, Chuck "Oakie," Debbie, Bobby, Carl, David, Rachel and Kenny.
She was preceded in death by son, David Jason Lucier; and sisters, Bessie Schellenberg and Brenda Lloyd.
Stella was retired from D.A.P. Packaging in Tipp City after more than 14 years of service. She was a genuine and caring person that always looked for ways to help others. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who she loved dearly. Stella was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother sister and friend who will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, with Carl Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from noon until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to American Cancer Society in Stella's memory.
