Scott Lester, age 54, of Fairview, MT, passed away on April 11, 2024. Born in Montana on March 7, 1970, Scott was a dedicated family man known for his hard work, adventurous spirit, intelligent conversation, and ability to fix anything. He was described as kind, honest, dependable, fun, and always willing to lend a hand.
Scott moved to Fairview, MT as a teenager where he attended high school and joined the National Guard. While serving, he became a father for the first time in 1989 and welcomed his second child in 1991. Soon after he began working for Holly Sugar in Sidney, MT, where he remained employed for nearly thirty years. In 1999, he received an honorable discharge from the National Guard.
In his free time, he enjoyed spending time outside working on various projects in his yard, from vehicles and small engines to gardening, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla (David) Schumacher; son, William Lester; grandchildren, Evyn and Milena Schumacher; mother, Wanda Tollefson; and his siblings. Scott was preceded in death by his grandmother, Winifred Irwin; and father, Leroy Lester.
A Celebration of Life to honor and remember the life of Scott Lester will be announced at a later date.
