Andrea Hammond Obituary
Andrea Jane Hammond passed away on March 23, 2018. Born in Burbank, CA on February 9, 1960, Andrea was a lifelong resident of the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys. She was in one of the first graduating classes at Saugus High School.
She was an avid photographer, voracious reader, creative artist, loved the outdoors especially the beach and loved her football pools during the season. She regularly went to small clubs to hear local bands of which her friends were members and to many concerts throughout the years. She enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews sporting and band activities.
Andrea's work career started with Rayne Water Systems, continued with other companies in the water industry, and then ended at Rayne Water Systems working for the son of the family who started the company where she began.
She is survived by her parents Tom and Mary Jane Hammond of Saugus, CA; her two brothers and their spouses: Thomas F. Hammond III and Sally Hammond of San Bernardino, CA and Scott B. Hammond and Wendy Hammond of Simi Valley, CA; two nephews: Thomas F. Hammond IV and Andrew C. Hammond and two nieces: Emily R. Hammond and Alicia D. Hammond.
Andrea will be missed by her family, her lifelong friends, and many other close friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday April 3, 2018 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 22387 North Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321. To make a charitable contribution, the family requests that it be made to The American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org/donate/).

It's really hitting me hard today that you're gone. You will be forever missed and forever loved. I'm so thankful for the memories I have with you. Spending time at Disneyland with you and my kids you coming up here to see me get married. That meant the world to me. And so many other memories and chats that we would have. I will miss your Christmas cards and birthday cards with the confetti falling out when they're opened. You will always be in my heart.
