Cameron Westcott Obituary
Cameron enjoyed being with friends and family and making people smile. He also enjoyed many different activities in life. At a young age, Cameron liked to cook and would talk about someday hosting a TV show he called "Cooking with Cam." As Cameron grew older, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle in the desert with his dad and friends. Over the past few years, he spent winters in Colorado and worked in the ski lodges so he would be able to snowboard, which he so passionately enjoyed.
Cameron is survived in life by his grandparents, Earl and Betty Westcott, Rex and Frankie Morningstar and Mary and Robert Potts. Cameron is also survived by his mother Lauree Lage, his step-father Jeff Lage, his father Bill Westcott, his step-mother Judy Westcott, his sisters Kristi Geimer, Stephanie (Cornelison) Tucker, Lindsay Cosola and his brothers Josh Phaneuf, Tyler Westcott, Chad Westcott, Jason Cornelison and Matthew Lage.
A public viewing will be held at Eternal Valley in Newhall, California on Friday, June 4th from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A celebration of Cameron's life will be held at Real Life Church in Valencia on Saturday, June 5th at 11:00 AM, with interment following at Eternal Valley. Thereafter, receptions will be held at the homes of Bill & Judy Westcott as well as Jeff & Lauree Lage.
Cameron's family wrote, "Our dearest son Cameron has left us today. He was a loving son and brother, and a friend to all. Cameron's charisma and kindness touched many lives and will live on in all of our hearts."

I love you Cameron and miss you! A wonderful nephew and person! I remember you always with a smile on your face. I will not ever forget and still have the note you wrote me when you were maybe 8 and said Thank you Aunt Terri for getting me lost in the forest!! We did have fun!

I can´t believe it´s been 13 years. Cam was life of the party, and he and I always had fun. He would always sneak down into my room so we could cuddle and watch the cooking channel. I love and miss you Cammy

I still remember, and actually still have the note Cameron wrote me when he was probably about 5. It said, Thanks Aunt Terri for getting me lost in the forest! :) We had gone for a walk along with my kids in the forest behind my Mom and Dad's house and I got a little mixed up on the way back! What a sweetie he was! He is missed.

It's been eleven years now and it never gets easier. I miss you every second of every day. You'd be 33 now and I wonder if you would have had a family and what you'd be like now. Your passing has left such a huge void in my life. I love you and was blessed to have you for the 22 years that I did.

Cameron is my nephew, my many wonderful memories of watching him grow into a young man will never be forgotten. He called me aunt Doobie, we were a lot alike with our affectionate loving personalities, never ever afraid to show our emotions or say I love you. Thats what I miss the most when I think of my nephew, acceptance, love and forever family. Till we can hug and be together again, I love you my sweet sweet Cam.

I just heard and I am so sorry for your loss. Cameron will always be in our hearts though it has been many years since I had seen him all I, as many others, are left with is his sense of humor he was a great kid and will be missed by so many.

I heard only today of the unfortunate and untimely death of Cameron and it fills me with sorrow. He was such a handsome and loving boy and my heart aches for you and your family. I never knew Cameron but know by all the wonderful things I have heard he was a great guy. His parents will miss him terrible and so will all who knew him. He is at peace now and will no longer suffer. Our prayers are with him.
