Missing Denni, so much.
I've known Him from The LAPD EXPLORERS PROGRAM
December 10, 2012
Dennis was a great man. I was an LAPD Explorer when Greg and Dennis were in charged of the Explorer Progam back in the 70's. I remember Fernando, Robert and his brother Jeff, we all had the same dream of becoming Police Officers. May God Bless him and his family. Police Officer Jorge Len BPPD.

Dennis; remembering you on the one-year anniversary of your passing, we are comforted by so many memories of you.
Ralph Waldo Emerson once quoted, ““It is not length of life, but depth of life” and you definitely lived your life to the fullest.
May you have found comfort in the hands of angels.

To Kathy, Shawn, and Sheri.. I know that it has been a LONG time, but, I wanted to let you know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Dennis and all of you are such wonderful people that always shared the Aloha spirit with us. My name is Jonathan Kim, I was an Explorer here in Hawaii and my Father is Sung Cho Kim. I would like to extend my, and my father's, deepest condolences. I have often wondered about all of you and I wish I had tried to look you up sooner. Dennis was a great man and his spirit will be a part of me for the rest of my life.
Love and Aloha,
Jon & Sung Cho Kim

My name is Fernando Salgado a former L.A.P.D. Explorer Scout @ Hollywood Division and also an employee for his security company. I just was to give my final respect to Dennis. Dennis and Kathy gave me and the other former Explorer members a chance in life to which some of us became successful in other jobs and law enforcement. I will always remember Dennis Farnham and family.

I will never forget our trip to China and how he negoiated the purchase of full- sized Terra Cotta Soldiers to be delivered to our homes. Thank goodness we got out of the hotel the next morning, very early! There was never a dull moment when Dennis was around!

My LAPD academy class was one month before Dennis's class. We went to Hwd Div in 1969. We had a great time, and Dennis was a cheerful, happy officer. He was a joy to work around. He will be missed by all who knew him.

As a fellow LAPD Hollywood Division Officer, I was fortunate to know Dennis both personally and professionally. Dennis was among the "Best of the Best". He was active with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and played an integral part in the planning and execution of the "Hollywood Walk of Fame" ceremonies, hundreds of Hollywood movie premiers, concerts at the Hollywood Bowl and the Hollywood Christmas Parade. Dennis made a positive impact on the many lives that he touched and will be deeply missed by many of his family and friends. God Bless Dennis and his wonderful family...

To Kathy and the family: We were deeply saddened upon hearing of Dennis' passing. When you opened Farnham Security in Canyon Country, Ca. we were proud to have your business join ours in the shopping center. Dennis made us women feel safe and he was always there if we needed something. He was a good man and we know he will be missed. May he rest in peace. Janie & Gene Kopecky, Paperback EMporium.

If Dennis ever had a bad day, you'd never know it. He was always upbeat and looking for the best in every person and every situation. He was also funny, thoughtful, generous, and kind. He will be greatly missed.
