Jamie Ayres Obituary

Jamie Ann Ayres (Mayer) was born August 24, 1976 in Valencia, CA. Her beautiful life ended unexpectedly on November 2, 2013. She attended Canyon High School, and went on to receive her BS from the Marshall School of Business at USC. She excelled in her career as a Senior Underwriter for the Berkley Surety Group. Jamie's fun, loving and positive influence on all of our lives is carried on with her husband, Rob Ayres, and their amazing one year old daughter, Abigail. Her wit, stubbornness, and intelligence also survives with her father George Mayer of Ventura, mother Miki Mayer of Canyon Country, sister Kelly Mayer of El Granada, aunt Jan Carpenter and grandmother Barbara Billo, both of Gold Beach, Oregon. Jamie loved traveling around the world, kicking butt in her fantasy football league, and dominating the family pool table. She loved her family and friends most of all, and we are all honored to have been a part of her life. Her daughter Abigail was by far her proudest achievement. In lieu of flowers, her family requests going to giveforward.com to contribute a hug or donation for Rob and Abigail in memory of Jamie Ayres.

Jamie was part of our family. as was Kelly, her sister. My two girls and Jamie and Kelly became very best friends in elementary school. I even had the pleasure of babysitting Jamie and Kelly while their parents worked or vacationed. I loved them and even introduced to them the art of eating and enjoying artichokes as food! Bless you, your family (mom, dad, sister, husband, and daughter)lean on one another, remember the special times together, and continue to love one another as God wants. love you,
