Kevin O’Brien Obituary
Kevin O'Brien, age 60 of Valencia, CA passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013, with his loving family by his side. Kevin was the owner of "Adwest" - a local custom tradeshow and exhibit company.
Kevin was a caring, loving father who adored and doted on his 4 grandchildren. An active participant in their interests, he was known to read story books in their school classrooms.
A wonderful and dutiful son, he worked diligently and selflessly to honor the needs of his elderly parents. Most of all, he was a loving, beautiful husband who looked forward to bringing a laugh, hug, and kiss each day to his wife of 25 years, Jan-Marie.
Kevin had a quick wit, enjoyed a good prank, and politics. He traveled often for business but always enjoyed coming home to Valencia to tend to his beautiful backyard garden, which he designed to resemble a Hawaiian resort. He was an artistic and innovative individual who shared his knowledge and talents to help others.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Eugene O'Brien, who was a WWII Purple Heart Veteran. He is survived by his wife Jan-Marie O'Brien; daughters: Janell (John) Noland and Michele (Chris) Aguilar; mother, Marie O'Brien; grandchildren: Brandon, Madison, Nikki, and Aubrey.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm. Friday, February 15, 2013 at Eternal Valley Chapel of the Oak, 23287 Sierra Hwy., Newhall, CA 91321. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and Paralyzed Veterans in memory of Kevin's father, Eugene O'Brien.
Kevin was the "whole package" - kind, gentle, funny, handsome, and intelligent. He will be forever missed by his loving family and friends.
