Patrick Arman Obituary

Patrick Wayne Arman a lifelong Newhall resident went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2021. Patrick was born to Carole (Thompson) Arman and Elmer G. Arman (Boots) in San Fernando, California on March 26, 1950.

Pat lived most of his life in Newhall, attended Newhall Elementary, Placerita Junior High and graduated Wm. S. Hart High School in 1969. He married his high school sweetheart Arla (Amrine) on March 1, 1969. God blessed them with three children - Jason P. Arman, Shannon (Arman) Mariani, and Beth (Arman) Giordano.

Tireless, of boundless humor, Arman shared his amazing work ethic and joy with all, friends or strangers. After high school, he joined Bill T. Small Excavating, which launched a successful career in construction. Many of the SCV homes, buildings and enterprises people pass today Arman helped build. Working hard for many construction companies and growing his family, in 1983, he launched his own firm: Arman Grading. The company flourished almost immediately, which was mostly in part due to his unmatched work ethic and heart of gold.

Family was the most important part of Pat's life and the gregarious patriarch let everyone know about his nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, he is survived by his sister Lana (Arman) Wittman and his brother-in-law Dennis Wittman.

Pat was a sweetheart. Our whole family was proud of him. My heart goes out to his widow and children, my cousins whom I have not met, and LanaMarie, Pat's sister. He's gone too soon.

Pat was my first cousin. I wish I had been able to spend more time with him and know him better. I remember him as a sweet little boy, and how happy we all were to see him when he came to my daddy's funeral in 2011. I'm glad he had such a wonderful family and happy and successful life.

We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Pat. We owned dump trucks and lowbeds and parked our equipment at Bermite from 1987-1993, My husband Robb or as Pat called him "Robinhood" worked together on many occasions .Pat always made us laugh and was a great man. We moved to North Idaho and lost touch with him, but Robb has so many good memories of Pat. His name always brings a smile to Robbs face. Rest in Peace buddy.

Pat Arman was a famous guy in Bud Murrays house. Pat was a guy we all knew about because dad used Pat as an example of never quitting. Pat you sure made a big difference in this world and you were the greatest guy to ever come out of Newhall!
My deepest most heartfelt condolences to the Arman family.
Respectfully
