Staci Phillips Obituary

1984-2016

On December 26, 2016 Staci Lynn Phillips of Canyon Country, CA took a shower, made love to her husband, and fell asleep. The next day, she left this world and became one of the last good and beautiful things lost in 2016.

She is survived by her children, Layla Brook Lynn Phillips and Frazier O'Neal Phillips IV; her husband, Frazier; her sister-wives: Heather, Jacqueline, Valentina and Bri. This page could be filled with those Staci is survived by, like family, and the friends she considered such, but those who knew her know Staci would rather not see the obituary page filled with the names of her loved ones, even in her honor.

Obituaries of the young often beatify the dead, but Staci loathed nothing more than insincerity, so suggesting she was saintly would disrespect her memory. She was an angry young woman but was happy to tell you so. She was the first in a mosh pit, the last to leave a party; the first to drag you to Vegas, the last to leave your side; the first to tell you she loved you, the last to lie to spare your feelings. Let the lesson of her life be to live fiercely, live loudly and, most of all, to live honestly.

In lieu of flowers, remove someone or something toxic from your life. That would honor Staci more than dead plants.
