James 'Edward' Goettsch
Sioux Falls, S.D.
James "Edward" Goettsch, 85, passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, under the compassionate care of hospice.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. today at Faith Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Family was present for a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, at Heritage Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at the Heritage Funeral Home website at www.heritagesfsd.com.
Ed is survived by his wife, Norene; two children, Tim (Kristen) and Jane (Todd Taylor); three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

I had the pleasure of serving lunch at the Lutheran school with Ed on Mondays. Every week we swapped stories about life or work or military. I think the kids really liked the feedback and humor from 3 men serving lunch on Mondays!! Rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers for Norene and family.
