I will miss Rudy - he was a great person. He broadcast many of my Sioux City North basketball games back in the 70's and 80's. I still have the VCR tapes of Rudy doing our state tournament games and have showed them to many players over the years. Everyone has enjoyed listening to Rudy doing the play by play. He has been over to my house with Mary after games to attend get to gathers. GREAT FRIEND, may you R.I.P.

I obtained one of my High School jobs thru Rudy Salem when he was the Personnel Director at St. Joe Hospital. Later, Rudy hired me on at St. Lukes, closer to my home, when he was the Personnel Director there. Years later, he provided me with great advice on choosing a career. He was one of a kind, quite the character and, Mamma Mia, he'll certainly be missed,

My heart goes out to the family. I miss the visits and talks we had when he walked the tunnels at St. Lukes Hospital for exercise. He will me missed.
