SPRINGFIELD - Aaron Joshua Dixon, 26, of Springfield died at 7:25 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at his home.
He was born Feb. 23, 1981, in Taylorville, the son of Tommie Clyde and Ellen Irene Spence Dixon. His father preceded him in death.
He was a resident of Springfield for most of his life.
Surviving are his mother, Ellen Irene Dixon Spence of Springfield; sister, Cynthia Dixon of Springfield; four brothers, Gary (Kelly) Dixon of Louisville, Ky., John Dixon and Thomas Dixon, both of Springfield, and Allen Dixon of Thayer; aunts and uncles, Aunt Lou and Uncle Alex Smith, Aunt Francie and Uncle Sonny Schroader, Aunt Robin Twisdale, Uncle Bobby Twisdale and Uncle Pete Harmon; three nieces; and a nephew.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at Staab Funeral Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at Staab Funeral Home with Vaughn Beeman officiating.

I am sorry for the loss of your beloved brother and son. I was so shocked to see that Aaron had passed. I hadn't seen Aaron for a few years but always thought I would see him again. I hope he has finally found peace.
