I had the pleasure of knowing Aaron for a short time at Notre Dame. He was always a really genuine guy. He never built himself up on the backs of others, and he was always good for a laugh.
Not many people make your day better when they are a part of it, but Aaron did and for that he will surely be missed by many.

Dear Ferenbach Family:
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. Words cannot begin to describe the level of respect I had for Aaron both personally and professionally. I had the privilege of meeting and spending time with Aaron earlier this year in Atlanta. Prior to our unexpected meeting, we had not seen each other for nearly 10 years and I was unaware that Aaron had taken a job in Atlanta. I walked in the door to an event that both of us attended and, without introduction, instantly recognized Aaron. He turned what would have otherwise been an uneventful event into a very fun night. He was an incredible person and will be greatly missed.

Dear Ferenbach Family: I had the pleasure of meeting Aaron through my high school friends from Cape Girardeau that attended Ole Miss. The few times that I was around Aaron were more than fun. A fond memory I have of Aaron was walking down Beale Street in Memphis quoting lines from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation...I think he was the only person in America who had seen that movie more times than me! He will be greatly missed and my deepest prayers are with your entire family today.

To the Ferenbach family,
Aaron's ability to light up the room was incredible. His excitement for life was contagious. We all became fast friends at Ole Miss, and we stuck together like family. Not only was Aaron my friend, but he was like a brother. He knew the best music, quoted the greatest movies, and carted us around in his jeep at Sardis Lake. He was such a significant part of my life and the lives of so many others. His memory will live on forever. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

Dear Bob, Linda, Lissy, and the Ferenbach and Hanley Families,
Aaron ("Airhead, "Barney") IS one of my very, favorite people in the whole world. I'm sure when God created Aaron, HE said now this is one of my special, one-of-a-kind ,COOL models. His sweet spirit & his sparkling smile made anyone happy...just to be near him. I spent time with Aaron in Chicago, and he asked if I was still praying for him. We had a great talk! I know that God's promises are true and we will all be together again. That is the HOPE we have in Christ! I can't wait to see that beautiful smile again! When we lost our Baby Luke, I remember the pastor saying that this earthly life is just a tiny scratch in the timeline of our life compared to the rest of our eternal life, or just the title page compared to the entire novel.Hey, Aaron, "leave the light on for us... we'll see you again!"
Our prayers are with you, Linda, Bob, Lissa for your PEACE and strength at this tough time. We ache with you . Our love, Peggy and Bruce

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I don't even know where to begin...Bob, Linda and Elissa, what a wonderful son and brother. He was an amazing person that could just light up a room with that smile of his. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I will remember Aaron always. My sincere condolences to all of you and your family.

Dear Ferenbach Family,
My husband and I met Aaron in Costa Rica a year ago. We were thrilled to find out he lived about 15 miles away from us in Atlanta. Since the trip, we've had the honor of getting to know him. I can't even begin to express how sorry we are about your loss. He was such a wonderful person and a joy to be around.
Love,

We met Aaron when he was vacationing down in Costa Rica. We instantly liked him and had a great time getting to know him. We got to spend some time with him back in Atlanta as well. We are so sorry to hear this tragic news. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Elissa and family,
My deepest condolences in your hour of sorrow. I'm trying to remember a time when I wasn't greeted by Aaron with a smile or a hug. I can't seem to come up with one. Truely a great young man. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.
Sincerely,
Richard Cernech

Mr. and Mrs. Ferenbach, Elissa, and family; My very most sincere condolences for what you are going through during this time. Aaron was one of the most kind-hearted and genuinely good people I have had the honor of knowing. There is no doubt in my mind that Aaron has his place in heaven. His memory and what he has done for others will always be with us.

Dear Bob and Linda and family,
When our Amy(Nelson) called us from New Hampshire Sunday to tell us about Aaron, we all were praying it wasn't really "our Aaron". The GHS Class of '97 has some network going on after 10 years. Our hearts go out to you and yours and there just aren't words that can express or comfort at this time, but know we are praying for all of you and hope you will remember all the good times in Chatham and St Joe's. Aaron was a great kid and I'm sure a great man. Sorry we won't be able to be at the services, but you will be in our hearts and prayers.
With Love,
