Anakin Credit Obituary
SPRINGFIELD - Anakin DeWayne Credit, 2, of Springfield died at 12:03 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at St. John's Hospital.
He was born Aug. 18, 2005, in Springfield, the son of William Credit and Angela Butler.
Surviving are his parents, Angela Butler and William Credit, both of Springfield; sister, Demetria Davis of Springfield; grandparents, Michele Credit and Carolyn Butler, both of Springfield and step grandma, Pamela Credit of Jacksonville; great-grandparents, Robert Haworth of Springfield, Mildred Credit of Jacksonville and Anne Sandberg of Chicago; several aunts and uncles; and several cousins.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Staab Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, at Staab Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Memorials to the Anakin D. Credit Memorial Fund, c/o Illini Bank in Springfield.

Mason, Angela and Weems Family..
Words can not express what I feel in my Heart for you right now. Losing a Child/ Grandchild is the most unbearable pain we carry with us as the survivors. Angie, Billy, friends and family,
I am sorry to hear about anakins' death. I am sure he was kind, and sweet and a joy to have. My heart goes out to you now and for the days ahead. I heard of his death through my dear friend alan, and my prayers are with all of you. We sometimes don't understand why theses things happen, but god has a plan for little Anakin,and god decided he needed to come home. I am sure your son knew how much he was loved, and still knows. He will always be in your hearts. I have been praying for all of you and will continue to do so. If you need anything, I can try to help. God bless.

I am so sorry for your loss. May GOD Be with you all in your time of need. Baby Anakin will be missed forever. His memories will last us a lifetime. He will be watched over by Papa Butler. A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?' God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.'
The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.' God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.'
Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?' God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.'
'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?' God said, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.'
'Who will protect me?' God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.'
'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.' God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.'
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.'
God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mom.'
To Anakins mother, be strong. You have done your part.

Dear Billy and Angie
I am very sorry to hear about Anakain's death. I am here for the both of you. Martha and I will be attending both the visitation and funeral services. we are here if you need us. We all loved him very much. Just remember that God had a bigger and better plan for Anakain that required him bringing our angel home to him. Just remember that he will always be in our hearts. We will never forget him. We all loved him very much. He was a very loving little boy. He will be missed very much. He has gone onto a better place for the lord to take care of him. He will always be watching down on all of us from Hevean. I always loved babysitting him. If you need me contact me on myspace or through Martha.

I read the story about your Little Anakin and was touched. As a mother I cannot imagine the pain but please know that I and many others will pray for you. Look to the sky and know that your little man has arrived safely in heaven.
