Anna Barrie DiIorio
formerly of EndwellAnna Barrie DiIorio, 86, passed away and entered into her eternal rest on June 19, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver, Colorado after a short illness. She was much loved and will be missed by many. Anna was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mary Grace Barrie; her two brothers, Joe Barrie, Endicott, and Tony Barrie, N.J. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John, Aurora, Colorado; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Rosemary DiIorio, Endicott, N.Y.; her daughter, Sharon DiIorio, Denver Colorado; and a wonderful friend, Barbara Shirley; her sister, Olga Yacovone, Binghamton N.Y.; her brother and sister-in-law, Gabe and Maxine Barrie, Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a self-employed hairdresser in Endwell for many years. She was a wonderful mother and mother-in-law. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital and the Hospice of Metro Denver who embraced our mother with compassionate, loving care.
The family will receive friends for a Visitation/Viewing on Sunday, June 25th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Service and Reception will follow on Monday, June 26th, at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Home, 1095 Havana Street, Aurora, Colorado 80010. Burial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. in Crown Hill Cemetery & Mortuary, 7777 West 29 Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80215.
