Miss those lunches, Tony's ideas and energy to embrace new things and his passion for Springfield historical moments. He is thought of often, and hope Kathy is managing well.

Tony was a true gentleman and great historian. No better ambassador or cheerleader has Mr. Lincoln’s hometown ever had since the President himself walked its streets. Tony was a fixture in Springfield to those of us at the Capital. This is a big loss and my prayers go out for Tony, his family, friends and Sangamon County.

I have know Tony since we were 15 years old. I can’t believe he is gone. I always visit him when I come home and expected to see him soon. Weather had kept me from traveling to Springfield and I am very upset I will be missing his funeral.
I hope that his work at Pasfield House will continue to amaze people with his talent for bringing history back to life. He was an amazing person and an amazing and supportive friend. I will miss him dearly. He was one of my best friends❤

Tony loved shopping our store for Lincoln Items and Springfield Antiques. Always loved helping him find that special something for his collection, the Pasfield House or for his dream coffee shop. We will truly miss the friendship and love Tony had for all things Lincoln Also the 4th of July fireworks viewings and hospitality at the Pasfield. RIP Tony

This makes me very sad to read Tony's obituary. I cannot believe he is gone and we will never hear his laugh again. He was an awesome person who was a friend to everyone. He never stopped and was always involved in something for the good of Springfield. He loved this city. God bless his soul and may he rest in peace. We will miss you.
