Brandon Goff Obituary
RIVERTON - Brandon Christopher Goff, 18, of Riverton died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 15, 1991 in Springfield, the son of Mathew and Stephanie Galloway Goff.
He is survived by his parents, 2 brothers, Joshua Mathew and Lance Michael Goff, grandparents, Turea and Don Biggs of Murrayville and Vivian Goff of Springfield, great-grandparents, Ruth Dugger of Jacksonville and Chris Teaney of Springfield, several aunts and uncles, and several cousins.
He attended Riverton Christian Church and was a senior at Riverton High School.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Staab Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Staab Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Harris officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Riverton Illinois National Bank.

I used to work with Brandon and his mom at IHOP. He was the sweetest kid. I was sad to hear this weekend when I was visiting home from an old co-worker at IHOP. He will always remain in my heart. May he find lots of peace.

Although Brandon and I weren't close, we were still friends in a way. When I found out, I knew it was going to be hard on the entire senior class. So many of us miss him and so many of us can't seem to grip onto reality. He was everyones friend. Music Appreciation is one of the most dreadest periods of the day for some of us. We all miss him dearly. My condolences go to his entire family and the rest of his friends. RIP Brandon.

brandon i remember the i was really down and you came up to me in school and said, "deidre it'll be okay dont listen' to them people they are just telling you lyes you look fine to mee!" that just made me realize what a great guy he really was and how much of a heart he had for others around him and i may not have all those memorys like everyone else but that is all i need to member brandon christopher goff by! I had the pleasure of knowing Brandon and having him in my life, he was a beautiful person. My Step-son Matt Little was friends with Brandon, and I got to know him well with sleep overs, trips to the mall, we hung out like we were best buds. I will never forget all the nice words he had for me, and for all the calls during the divorce and years after just checking in and letting me know how Matt was doing. I felt a huge connection to Brandon, and will miss him, but will always remember his love for others and that contagious smile! Love to Matt, Stephanie and the boys, you are in my prayers and I will never forget you!

Brandon was an amazing friend. He taught my kids how to tie their shoes and swing on a swingset. He was an extraordinary person whom I miss and love beyond words.

Although I did not know him all that well, Brandon seemed like a really great kid. Everytime i saw him he had a big smile on his face and he seemed very nice. I just want the Goff family to know that you are all in my prayers.

I didnt know Brandon but from what i have heard he sounded like a pretty awesome person to be around.I've seen him in the hallways and he was always having a BIG smile one his face and made everyone else have a big smile as well. Lubert. That's the nickname Brandon gave me. Weird, but probably the one I'll never forget. I'll always love Brandon. He changed my views on how to act towards people at school, and in life. He showed me that saying a simple "Hi" or "Cello" could get someone through their day, and I only knew him for a short time, but I looked up to Brandon. I will always miss and love him. Brandon, you'll always be in everyones heart. School just feels different without Brandon around. He brighted up a room and just made eveyone happy. Thank you, Brandon, for everything you've done for me. Your my idol.

Brandon was not just a simple person he was simply unique not just to me but to everyone who knew him. He was a very talented boy in both music and making everyone feel better when they were down. I truely and deeply miss him in music class, although it is very quiet in there now we all know brandon is still in our class without being there. my sympathy goes out to his family. we all love and miss you brandon.

I didn't know Brandon personaly, however we knew who each other were from going to school together. I would always run into him when he worked at County market and we always said hi to each other. I remember my school days with him and he always made me smile. R.I.P. Brandon, you are truely missed!

Goff Family,
Our whole family has been deeply saddened my Brandons passing. Blake has been friends with Lance since kindergarten and was in choir and musicals with Lance Josh and Brandon. The boys are so talented and have such a great sense of humor. Our family has enjoyed having them in our lives. Jenna attended the after school program at the Elem school and always enjoyed playing with the boys. She also would go to Madrigals in the morning with her big brother and enjoyed eating breakfast with Lance. We can not imagine what your family is going thru but know that you are not enduring it alone. Brandon was loved by many and will never be forgotten. Brandon was an amazing person and could make anyone happy just by smiling at them. no matter what mood you were in he would always get you to laugh. I miss Brandon very much. I know that since high school started we didn't talk very much but we used to be like brother and sister. i could tell him anything. and when i was having a bad day he would listen and tell me what i should do to fix it. i would do anything for him no matter what. he will forver be in my heart. i just wish that we hadn't grown apart because he had the best personality out of anyone i have ever met and he could make anyone laugh. i want to say that i'm really sorry for his family's loss.

The first thing anyone noticed about Brandon was how easily he smiled and passed his happiness to others. It meant the world to us that he remembered our names and always made a point to say hello, especially when others didn't. He always went out of his way to be a friend to everyone, especially those who were considered outcasts by everyone else.
We were truly saddened to hear of his passing and we offer the Goff family our heartfelt condolences.

Brandon was a great friend and overall just a great person. He was one of my first friends when I moved to Riverton in fifth grade and we continued our friendship throughout middle school and high school. He always knew how to brighten your day or make you laugh no matter what kind of day you were having. He is missed and loved very much.
