David Jason Koller, 43, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at his residence.
David was born on April 19, 1973 in Ft. Polk, LA the son of Duane and Carol Krueger Koller.
He worked as a cook for Denny's Restaurant in Jasper, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Koller of Springfield and step-daughter, Olivia Guy of IN.
Cremation will be accorded and private family services will be at a later date.
Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home, 530 N. 5th St., Springfield, IL 62702 is in charge of arrangements.

I was just thinking about Dave the other day and googled him.
I am deeply saddened to see this is what turned up .
David was a dear friend and his family was always so incredible to me.

Carol - I was surprised and saddened to hear from Linda Miller that your son had passed away. I imagine there is no pain more far reaching and deeper than losing a child. My heart and prayers go out to you at this most difficult time.
