Resident of Mountain View
Debra was born on March 14, 1956 in Spokane, WA. She is survived by her mother, Donna Davis; siblings Clint Davis and Colleen Auble; son, Justin Ashley and his spouse, Kim Ries, their children Everett and Savannah; daughter, Summer Ashley. Debra worked for Palo Alto Medical Foundation as Director of Audiology. She became ill suddenly and after a brief battle with complications due to a genetic disease, she passed away quietly in the presence of her loving daughter Summer on 4/1/14. Debra's family and friends are grieving her passing and will miss her very much. Service is at Spokane Memorial Gardens on 4/19/14 at 2:00 p.m. We would like to thank all the Doctors and staff at Stanford Medical Center and her beloved PAMF colleagues.

My heart is grieved and saddened over the loss of your beautiful daughter, sister and Mother, Debra. The world would be a better place if there were more like her. She was a dear and never forgotten friend, colleague and my first mentor and encourager. Debra touched the lives of so many with her gentle and caring manner. Her contributions and dedication to the hearing impaired population, audiology community, students and institutions she implemented programs at is among the greatest in our field. Although my heart is saddened that I will not have the opportunity to ever see her again, I will forever remember her beauty, her smile, her laugh and am comforted to know that I will see her again with our Lord.
