Della Piland Obituary
Springfield, IL—Della Faye Piland, 83, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020, at Sunrise Skilled Nursing in Virden.
She was born September 11, 1936 to Charles Glenn and Melba (Rotes) Yates. She married Harold "Bill" Piland on December 19, 1954. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Yates and Melba Carter; son, James Piland; and brother, Grady Yates.
Faye was formerly employed by Sears Roebuck & Co. and DTC Environmental Laboratories. She was a member of Pasfield Southern Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Greg (Jan) Piland and Kelly Jo (Jack) Sutphin; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Kaye (Gary) Beavers; and several nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Bill, Greg and Kelly, I am so sorry to hear about Faye. I had no idea she was Ill. Im sorry we lost touch. I have happy memories of our times together. Ron died June 26 from his long battle with Parkinsons. We are having a Celebration of Life for him Sunday at
Motörheads. The details will be in his obit tomorrow. Love and healing thoughts to all of you.

Im so saddened to hear about Aunt Fayes passing on Monday. Sending warm thoughts and prayers to the family during this difficult time. Im thankful for the fond memories of visiting Mamaw in little ole Rosiclare and having fun running around with my cousins and spending quality time with aunts, uncles and listening to family stories. Seems so long ago but am so grateful for those loving memories.
