My sympathies to Don's family. I worked part time at the print shop doing the janitorial work. Don always treated me with kindness and respect. Whenever I would run into him downtown after I no longer worked at the shop Don would stop and visit with me, always with the smile and a handshake. I am very saddened to learn of his death.

For the last 35 years I only got to see Don at our SHS class reunions. He would greet me with that infectious smile and say how glad he was to see me and I knew he was one of those rare folks that really meant it. Don was a class act.
God bless his family and friends for he has left a void in their heart. Over time it will heal and be filled with wonderful memories of happier times.

When I worked at the Illinois State Bar Association, Schnepp & Barnes was our primary printer, and for many years even before my time, the printer of the Illinois Bar Journal. Don ran a great shop and was a great gentleman. My sympathies to the family.

I can't remember a time without Don. I've got a photo of him holding me as a baby. He looked like he was 12. He still lives in happy memories of childhood. You, too, Sue. You guys were second set of parents. I loved him.

Dear Schnepp family,
I am so sorry to see about your Don. I was lucky enough to be on a cruise years ago with the White family with you( Sue ) and Don. I remember talking to him about printing and such as I work at the sjr. I lost my dad to the horrible pancreatic cancer as well just 5 yrs ago . My prayers thoughts and hugs are with you all .

Sue,
My first thoughts about Don were the many printing jobs that he helped me with when I was with First National Bank. And then I recalled the many good times we had at ABC events, golfing, and just being a good friends.
We will miss Don and our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
