Donna Barnes Obituary
CRYSTAL, MN - Donna L. (Roberts) Barnes, 90, of Crystal, Minn., formerly of Springfield, Ill., passed away May 12, 2016.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 16, at Brunswick United Methodist Church, 6122 42nd Ave. N., Crystal, MN.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Ill.
Memorials are preferred to Hassan Elementary School, Story Theater or the Sandburg Learning Center.

We laid Grandma Donna to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, IL, a three-iron away from the Tomb of Abraham Lincoln. It's a beautiful place. Grandma Donna had a great life, and it's because of you folks. Thank you.

DEAR PAUL AND VICKI,
I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT GRANDMA DONNA. I CALL HER GRANDMA DONNA DUE TO SHE WAS LIKE A GRANDMA TO MY CHILDREN AND MYSELF. WHEN EVER THERE WAS A SOFTBALL GAME YOU WOULD ALWAYS SEE GRANDMA DONNA IN HER CHAIR. SHE WILL BE MISSED SO MUCH. MY LOVE TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

Our family was blessed beyond measure to have crossed paths with Grandma Donna. We enjoyed her enthusiasm and joyful spirit so much! So grateful for the softball weekends we were able to spend and enjoy with her and your family as well!

I only met Donna two - three times through Vicki, and she was unbelievably such a warm and kind person making myself, daughter and grandson feel welcome.
