Donna Leamons Obituary
SPRINGFIELD, IL – Donna J. Leamons, 86, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016, at her home.
She was born May 7, 1929, to Homer and Ernestine Spencer. She married Jerry Leamons on March 30, 1954, in Taylorville.
Donna was a CNA for many years and a homemaker. She was a die-hard Cubs fan.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Leamons and Richard Leamons; daughters, Pamela Nutaut, Barbara (Marty) Moffitt, Jackie (Claude) Bradley and Marilyn Leamons; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Ronald (Donna) Spencer and Lawrence (Jeanette) Spencer; sisters, Karen (Richard) Anderson and Cheryl Cryer; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers and three sisters.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: St. John's Hospice.

God bless you Donna. We worked together at St John's recovery room together in the 1970's. We worked hard but enjoyed working together. I appreciated Donna's laugh and infectious smile and willingness to help a new RN. I miss you Donna!
