Dorothy Moreland Obituary
ARGENTA, IL - Dorothy I. Moreland, 87, of Argenta, Ill., passed away 5:45 a.m., Dec. 4, 2016, at Hickory Point Christian Village in Forsyth, Ill.
Services will be at noon, Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at Argenta United Methodist Church in Argenta, Ill., with Pastor Bob Baker officiating.
Burial will follow at Friends Creek Cemetery in Argenta.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - noon on Friday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to: Argenta United Methodist Church.
Dorothy was born March 18, 1929, in Pawnee, Ill., the daughter of Ivy and Opal (Adams) Sanders. She married James Donald Moreland on Aug. 6, 1950, in Hillsboro, Ill. He passed away March 25, 2013.
Survivors include her children: David (Mary) Moreland of Chatham, Ill., Karon Moreland (Neal Primm) of Colmesneil, Texas, Sharon (Denny) Moore of Latham, Ill., and Suzie (Mike) Bruels of Charleston, Ill.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one step-grandson.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Sanders.
Dorothy was a member of Argenta United Methodist Church. She was a lifelong homemaker and beautician for many years.
Calvert Funeral Home in Argenta is in charge of arrangements.

So sorry to learn of the passing of our dear friend and former neighbor. Would love to communicate with her children, but do not have any addresses. Our last times together we're down at Beaver Dam State Park. Our deepest sympathy to all.
