Donna and Bill,
My heart goes out to your family and I pray that you will find peace knowing Jerry is looking down on us. I will always remember Jerry as that cute kid who lived across the street from me growing up. I can still hear him calling "Butch" or asking if I'd play 2-Square with him. He always had a smile on his face and a "witty" thing to say. I'm glad I had a chance to see him again this summer. He truly was a great guy and will leave a void in many hearts. I just know that him and Mary Partridge are up there eating homemade jello popsicles and laughing :) Thank you Jerry for all the wonderful memories!!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Aunt Donna & Uncle Bill, Words are not easy to come by at a time like this. I am so sorry for your loss and please know that you are in our prayers. Jerry was one of the good ones. He was my buddy when we were growing up and although we grew apart with age, I still loved him. I have alot of memories of the two of us running around the yard and through the house. The times we stayed with Aunt Frances and probably drove her crazy but she loved us no matter what. I always thought he'd grow up to be president or something. But he turned out to be an even greater father, son, and friend to so many. I know that he was a great guy with a kind heart and he always made me laugh. I will never forget him.

They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

our deepest sympathy goes out to all of you at this very sad time. I know there are no words that can ease the pain that you are going thru right now, for there is no bond greater than a parent and a child.
Jerry was a good hearted guy and could always put a smile on your face. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
May all the memories you had together comfort you at this difficult time.
We will keep you in our thoughts & prayers.

BILL and DONNA , I apologize for this having to be the reason I finally take time to talk to you folks. I am so sad for your loss . So many people are feeling this loss with you ,of that I am sure .
Some of my earliest memory's are of playing with JERRY when he was 2 or 3 yrs. old and I was 4 or 5 .For some reason or other I always seemed to get JERRY hurt one way or another , as I'm sure you all remember . We loved to play together , but for some reason ,he always managed to get hurt around me . As I got older , I thought about those times alot , and grew to feel somewhat guilty about all those times he got banged up . Well, when I got to 8th grade I transferred to WASHINGTON MIDDLE SCHOOL , and ran into Jerry the very 1st day of school.Up to me run's this skinny little kid , tan everywhere looking like some kid right out of a surfer magazine, lol. He was happy to see me , as I was him . We hung out mostly everyday together ,as I didn't know anyone anyhow, lol. One day a few week's into the year Jerry brought up some of the times I accidentally hurt him and I told him how I had felt bad about all that . And do you know , he hauled off and punched me in my arm so hard I was bruised for weeks . He said " There , now were even for you shooting me in the arm with the pellet gun in the shoulder when we were real little". I had forgotten all about that ,as we were very young when that happened .
This is the first time I have ever shared that with anyone . I know Jerry would have laughed " HIS " laugh for sure.
So that is the JERRY that I want you two to know, that I will always remember , that skinny little kid who made his old friend feel not so bad .

Sincerely Your's James ( Jimmie ) Sanges
