Helene J. Good
SPRINGFIELD, IL - Helene J. Good, 80, of Springfield, died at 8:32 a.m., Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at Oak Terrace.
She was born Oct. 17, 1934, in Phelps, Wis., to Norman and Helene Madsen Nelson.
Surviving are her husband, Charles P. Good, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage; one daughter, Kristine R. (Jeffery) White of Delafield, Wis.; two sons, James (Carol) Good of Riverton and Robert P. (Jill) Good of Springfield; one brother, Norman (Marilyn) Nelson of Superior, Wis.; eight grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; five nieces; and seven nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dorothea Irmen; and two brothers, James and Olen Nelson.
Helene was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post 32 and Partners – Telephone Pioneers of America.
Memorial Gathering: 9-11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at St. John's Lutheran Church.
Memorial Service: 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Greg Busboom and Pastor Ladd Sonnenberg officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The Alzheimer's Association.

So sorry to hear of Helene passing...she was a wonderful woman. She and Chuck were neighbors of ours in Cobblestone subdivision. We spent many happy times discussing the issues of the world..Our deepest sympathy.
