I feel I am so lucky to have been a part of Jims life! He brought a lot of fun into the Merritt households with all his laughter & good spirits!! I loved watching him participate in the special olympics and was very proud of all his accomplishments & knowledge!! He was always testing our trivia knowledge! Anyone that had their life touched by Jim has lost a very special angel on earth. Thank you Jim!! We will always love you!!

I will miss Jim and his smiling face. I always enjoyed getting to see him at family functions, and whenever I ran across JFK (or tv guide) memorabilia, I always thought "I wonder if Jim would like this?".. He loved all his family so very much. God definitely has a new angel in heaven...
