Jane E. Ingham, of Norton, passed away on Christmas day.
Jane was a girl scout leader for ten years and was district chairman from 1957 to 1964. She was honored by being awarded a lifetime membership in the PTA. She was an avid golfer and had golfed in several leagues. She loved to dance, and until his death, she and Jack were at the Son's of Herman Club almost every Friday night.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Ingham; son-in-law, Farrell Ballinger; and great-grandson, Becket Harrison. She is survived by daughters, Pamela Ballinger of Akron, Joyce (Steve) Yahner of Scottsdale, Arizona; son, David (Sherry) Ingham, Sr. of Canal Fulton; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Friends called at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., on Monday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Services were at 2 p.m., Rev. Linda Somerville officiated. Interment was at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cardinal Retirement Village of Cuyahoga Falls for their outstanding care and compassion, and the Hospice Center of Visiting Nurse.The family request donations, if desired, to Great Trail Council, Boys Scouts of America, 1601 S. Main St., Akron, 44301 or a charity of your choice.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will never forget Jane. I danced her to meals many times at Cardinal where I worked as Director of Assisted Living. She was quite a lady! My heart goes out to you all.

Read about your mother in the paper.
You have our sympathy...I do remember your mother from Girl Scouts.  Also remember from when our Greg was involved with Farrell in the boy scouts and you being Jean Sweet's neighbor.  She is in a much
better place.
