Jon Bailey Obituary
BATH, IL - Jon Perry Bailey, 51, of Bath, passed away at his home at 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. He was born January 4, 1965 in Havana, to James Floyd Bailey Sr. and Mary (Burgess) Bailey. He married Kelly Sielschott on April 11, 1986 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Mr. Bailey was a veteran of the United States Air Force and then employed at Standard Aero in Springfield for 25 years. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in rural Kilbourne.
Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife and mother, three sons; Breton (Amber) Bailey, Bryce Bailey and Braun Bailey all of Bath, one grandson; Wyat Perry Bailey, brother; Alan (Kathy) Dye of Havana, and two sisters; Sharon (Russell) Hughes of Bath and Karen (Rick) Showalter of Kilbourne. He was preceded in death by his father, one sister; Merry Gay Pierce, and one brother; James "Sarge" Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Pastor Ed Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m on Friday, July 22, 2016, also at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Loving Peace Hospice. Online memorial messages may be left for the family at www.hurleyfh.com.

Our sincere condolences to Kelly, Bryce and the entire Bailey family. Dave and I worked for many years with Jon. He always had a smile on his face and we always looked forward to the pick up truck full of watermelons he would share with all his co-workers each year.
