Suzette Roach
Kayla Suzette Roach, 25, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born on Jan. 11, 1987, to Timothy A. and Sheila K. (Golliher) Roach. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Francis "Whistle" and Lila Golliher, and her maternal great-grandparents.
Kayla is survived by her parents, Tim and Sheila Roach; grandparents, Roxie and LaVena Roach and Vivian Golliher; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kayla attended Edwin Lee School from the age of 3 until she graduated in 2009. If you met her, you loved her. She touched so many hearts. Her bright, sometimes bull headed personality and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her. Kayla loved to travel with Mom and Dad and her Grandma and Grandpa Roach on vacations. She brought into the lives of her parents many, many wonderful people, and for that we thank her.
A Celebration of Kayla's Life will be held at her home from 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012. Casual attire is requested.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Edwin Lee School to benefit the Special Education Dept., 1201 Bunn Ave., Springfield 62703.

Dearest friends, I can still feel little Kayla's hand holding mine and I felt as though my hand was in the hand of an angel. What a beautiful person! God chose the two of you to keep her for Him until He could gather her in His arms and carry her home. Love always...

Tim and Sheila, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember shortly after Kayla was born, we moved in across the street from you on Mars. My sister (Heather) and I loved each visit we had with Kayla. She helped us learn more about ourselves as human beings and how each individual could learn, what to teach others more than, we were able to learn from the grown-ups around us at that point an time growing up. She will be sadly missed.

Growing up across the street from you guys was awesome. I loved when you babysat us and watching tv on the floor with Kayla. I remember her favorite toy when we were little was a brown monkey named JoeJoe, and I remember waving bye to her when the school bus drove away. So sorry for your loss. She sure did have a lot of love given to her.
