Lyle Welch Obituary
SPRINGFIELD, IL - Lyle Keith Welch, 87, of Springfield, died at 6:45 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 27, 1928, on a farm near Morrisonville, Ill., to Clarence and Emma Specht Welch. He married Winona Wolfe on Nov. 7, 1964, in Virden, Ill.
He is survived by his wife, Winona of Springfield; two children, Debbie Welch of Farmersville, and Russ (Bonnie) Welch of Springfield; four grandchildren: Zack Pierceall, Joshua (Brandi) Drendel, Eric (Darci) Welch and Sara Welch; one step-grandson, Jason Beard; four great-grandchildren: Della and Ean Welch, and Jacob and Jocelyn Drendel; two sisters, Mildred Reece of Springfield, and Beatrice Williams of Florida; two brothers, Loren Welch of Texas, and W. Paul Welch of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one son, Lyle Welch II; one sister, Eloise Myers; and his parents.
Lyle was a life member of Elks Lodge #158. He was employed as a tool grinder for Fiat Allis.
He enjoyed having coffee with Paul Bahlow and his friends at Hardees and going to the boat in Peoria with his wife.
Graveside Service: 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Morrisonville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Elks Crippled Children, or to a charity of the donor's choice.

To the families of Keith, You have our deepest sympathy, you are in our prays. Back in the 40's I knew Keith, Loren & Beatrice. Loren was in the shows at Moonlight Garden we all had great times, many good memories. May God help all of the families get through this sad time.
