Marian E. Neifahrt Loeber Freehill 1926 - 2018
Bloomington, MN—Marian E. Neifahrt Loeber Freehill, age 91, died at Walker Methodist Care Suites in Edina, MN on Sunday, January 7, 2018.
Born December 10, 1926 in Pocahontas, Illinois, Marian lived in Lincoln, Illinois, Indianapolis, IN, Rochester Hills, MI and Bloomington, MN. She spent most of her career as an employee of the State of Illinois, retiring as an Administrator from the Telecommunications Division of Central Management Services. After retirement Marian enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and played an active resident role in her senior living community Summerhill Cooperative of Eden Prairie, MN she was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Bloomington, MN.
Survivors include 3 children: David R. Loeber of Bloomington, MN, Barbara (Loeber) Tisckos of Riverton, IL and Gary A. Loeber of Eden Prairie, MN and 4 step-children Patricia (Freehill) Sheftick of Springfield, IL, James Freehill of Springfield, IL, Charles Freehill, of CA and Barbara (Freehill) Chrismore of Lincoln, IL as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marian was preceded in death by 2 spouses: Robert C. Loeber in 1976 and James A. Freehill in 2010.
Visitation 10 to 11 AM Saturday, January 13 with a Mass of Resurrection at 11 AM at the Church of St. Edward, 9401 Nesbitt Ave. S., Bloomington.
A private burial will be held in Lincoln, IL at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Walker Methodis care suites, 7400 York ave. S. Edina, MN 55435
